Ultimate Scratched Xbox 360 Disk Fix
- Buy the game that is scratched at Gamestop or any other cheap game store that allows returns.
- Install that game to your Xbox 360 hard drive. Insert the CD and while at the dashboard, press Y for game details. It's there that you will see a "Install game" option. [You will need about 6GB, so if you are stuck with the 4GB HDD, then you can't be helped.]
- After installing the game, run the game from your games library. When it asks for a CD, use the scratched CD.
- So long as the scratched CD is not ruined near the inside of the CD, the Xbox with verify the CD and play it from the HDD.
- Return the new game and get your money back. Go home and enjoy your game!
